Learn about extreme felting with Wool 'n' Dance
If you are a feltmaker or have basic felting experience the Wool 'n' Dance is hosting an extreme felting workshop in Birmingham on the 8-9 September (dates and location tbc). At this 2 day event Wool 'n' Dance creator Sue Russell will lead up to 12 people in the design and creation of the 8 metre circular dance floor ready for the festival.
The workshop costs £35 for the two days. Participants mustn't be camera shy as this event will be filmed for Birmingham's Big Screen. Participants will be credited in the film and on this website. If you are able to help out at the main Artsfest event there will also be the opportunity to display some of your own work at the Wool 'n' Dance's festival exhibition stand.
Places are limited so if you want to participate please email woolndance@gmail.com with your name, contact details and some images of your work. If you are travelling from outside the region and require accommodation please state this in your email.
This is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your feltmaking skills, learn new things, meet some great people and have fun, so please spread the word to any feltmakers you know - this opportunity is not to be missed!
